About the event
The Japanese flower stalks designed by Japanese artist Namiko Maruyama use soft pastels to express the beauty of traditional patterns. The course is divided into three levels: elementary, intermediate and upper. After completion, you can be authorized to teach.
Beginner | Approximately 3-3.5 hours
Cherry Blossoms & Clouds | Pine, Bamboo, and Plum | Chidori & Aokai Waves | Autumn Leaves | Snow Rabbit
Fee: HKD1050 (including course tool rental, take-away notes and special templates)
Intermediate | Approximately 4-5 hours
Chrysanthemum & pine | Tortoise shell | Plum blossom | Camellia japonica | Cherry blossom & running water
Fee: HKD1250 (including course tool rental, take-away notes and special templates)
Advanced | Approximately 3-4.5 hours

Fee: HKD1500 | Including course tool rental, take-away notes & dedicated templates)
After completing Level 3, you can apply for a tutor certificate
Electronic certificate fee: $600
*Level 3 with pastel experience can be completed in 2 afternoon classes (10 hours)
*For those with little pastel experience, it takes 1 full day + 1 afternoon class (12 hours) to complete Level 3
*Weekend morning classes/weekday classes/evening classes can be easily adjusted to 2 hours/session (5-6 days to complete)

We offer face-to-face classes and online teaching. If you are unable to attend the event, you are welcome to make an appointment and join the class.

For groups of 4 or more, you can choose to take classes in Tsuen Wan/Kwun Tong/Wan Chai
